Slavic Oregon Social Services provides a range of services such as domestic violence services, community orientation, English (ESL) classes, agency referrals, health education, referrals to pro-bono or low cost legal consultations, free mental health counseling, and emergency dental care. There are many ways to become a part of our work. We invite you to look into opportunities to get involved.

Volunteer Opportunities

> Mentor - Mentor Slavic-speaking victims of domestic violence; there is more need for female mentors, but all are encouraged to inquire.

> Office Assistant - Assist in the office; knowledge of Slavic languages is a plus.

> ESL Tutor - Provide individual tutoring based on student's English language proficiency level.

> Pro-bono Attorney - Provide legal consultations on immigration and family law.

> Child Care Provider - Provide child care twice a month for two hours for domestic violence support group participants; some knowledge of Slavic languages is required. Must be a licensed child care provider.
