What is Healthy Kids?
Healthy Kids is Oregon’s health coverage for all uninsured kids and teens. Children under the age of 19 can receive comprehensive medical, dental, vision, behavioral and mental health coverage for free or at a very low cost.

How do families sign up?

• Sign up online at www.oregonhealthykids.gov.
• Call 1-877-314-5678 (press 1 for language assistance).
• Contact any Certified Application Assistance Organization (CAAO). A list of CAAOs can be found at www.oregonhealthykids.gov/apply/map.html.

What does it take to become a CAAO?

• A completed application, which can be obtained through www.oregonhealthykids.gov.
• Verification of your organization’s registration with the secretary of state’s office.
• A completed W-9 “Request for Taxpayer Identification and Certification.”
• A designated staff member or volunteer able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.

Congregations and organizations helping with application assistance are eligible for a cash incentive from the State of Oregon. For each application that results in Healthy Kids enrollment, your organization will receive $75.
