In light of recent actions taken to combat the spread of COVID-19 across Oregon and the nation, SOAR Immigration Legal Services will postpone the start of all spring citizenship classes until the first week of May (unless otherwise directed). Many of our classes gather at libraries and schools which have temporarily closed on varying schedules. We must be compliant with all efforts to put the health of our community first.
In the meantime, you may access self-study materials and resources online and check USCIS.gov for announcements regarding field office closures and rescheduling appointments. We recommend the following free online citizenship courses:
- USA Hello https://classroom.usahello.org/course-list/
- USA Learns https://www.usalearns.org/usa-learns-citizenship
