Interfaith Earth Summit: Re-Connect, Re-Imagine, Re-New

Join us on a joyful journey to Re-Connect, Re-Imagine and Re-New! REGISTER NOW for the 13th annual Oregon Interfaith Earth Summit on May 17 from 1 to 3 p.m.
The Interfaith Earth Summit is an opportunity for people of faith and goodwill to gather locally around a shared care for our neighbors and the environment we all depend on. Through Zoom, we will connect our statewide community. For reference, here is last year’s web page and Zoom recording.
This year’s Earth Summit is an invitation to:
-
- Re-Connect with people like you across Oregon who seek a safe, healthy, abundant and beautiful world for all.
- Re-Imagine your community, resilient and thriving with nature.
- Re-New your commitment to action, and find your place in the movement.

OREGON COMMUNITY QUILT
Actualizing our Re-Imagine theme, EMO staff, in partnership with local hosts and volunteers, will facilitate the creation of a statewide art project: an Oregon community quilt. Each Summit participant will be invited to create one square in the quilt to express their response to the question: “I / We have the right to … clean water, clean air, healthy food, etc.” We will digitize each square, bringing all of the squares together into a work of art that reflects the beautiful diversity of our community. Our goal is to take the quilt on tour to inspire support for the people’s right to a safe and healthy environment. Ultimately, we will ask for the quilt to be displayed in the Oregon Capitol.
