An Evening with Fr. Greg Boyle

June 25, 2023 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Fr Greg Boyle

Join Catholic Charities of Oregon for an evening of storytelling with Jesuit Father Greg Boyle. He’ll explore the choice to move to society’s margins and how compassion, kinship, and belonging transform despair into hope.

“Incandescent, always hope-filled and often hilarious. Boyle somehow maintains an exuberant voice that celebrates the strength, compassion and humanity of people often demonized.” Christian Century

Father Greg Boyle is the founder of Homeboy Industries, the largest gang-intervention, rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world. As the author of the inspirational bestsellers, Tattoos on the Heart and Barking to the Choir, he shares what working with gang members is like with breathtaking parables inspired by faith and compassion. Hear how living at the margins of society turns us inside out and how crucial hope is to healing from this inspirational storyteller.
