Our Children’s Trust: Rally to Support Climate Justice

Please note that due to a time change of the hearing, the Interfaith Service preceding the rally has been cancelled and the Rally will now start at 1:30 p.m.

Join us for a rally for Juliana v. United States Youth Plaintiffs!

The youth are suing the federal government, seeking justice through court-ordered actions to mitigate the climate crisis and to prevent climate catastrophe. The Ninth Circuit Court will be hearing their case on June 4. Our Children’s Trust is expecting over 1,000 people at the free rally. Let’s make sure our communities are well-represented, letting the world know that faith communities across the country and across religious traditions care about climate justice!

• Include a Climate Rally Bulletin Insert at your congregation’s next service.
• Bring signs (and clergy vestments) no later than 2:30 p.m., assembling in designated area for the faith community (at SW Park Ave. in Director Park).
• Watch the live stream of the hearing on your devices and/or watch the live stream at the rally beginning at 2 p.m. at youthvgov.org.
• Make a 10-second video in your congregation/community saying that your community supports the Julianna youth plaintiffs and upload your video on the EcoFaith Recovery website by June 3.
