Sound of Hope: A Night of Music in Support of Slavic Survivors

Join us on Saturday, April 11, for an uplifting evening of music in support of Slavic survivors. “The Sound of Hope” concert will feature a diverse lineup of Slavic musicians, performers, and vocalists.
Before the concert, enjoy traditional Slavic tea and treats, and take part in our raffle — with many exciting prizes to win. Local entrepreneurs have generously donated gift certificates for beauty services, photo sessions, arts and crafts, and more, giving guests a great chance to take home something special!
Hosted at Westminster Presbyterian Church in northeast Portland, the concert begins at 7 p.m.; doors open at 6 p.m. for tea time.
Tickets are $30; children 12 and under are free. Please use the form below to reserve your tickets. Proceeds benefit EMO’s Slavic Oregon Social Services, which assists survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

- Inna Kovtun (image:) traditional Ukrainian ethno-singer, dancer, teacher and folklorist from Kyiv, Ukraine, known for her powerful voice and vibrant stage presence.
- Sensah Quartet: The World Classics Quartet, led by Irina Sensah, delivers timeless, uplifting music that evokes a refined, elegant sense of hope, unity and warmth.
- Olga Kravtsova: Portland-based movement director and interdisciplinary artist blending physical storytelling and immersive design.
- Maria Ombysh: singer-songwriter, member of the Lala Band duo and vocal coach at Joy Music Space.
- Aleksandra Sinitsina: jazz singer, international award winner and renowned vocal teacher.
- Isabella Yarmolich: violinist, orchestral and solo performer.
