Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon's Metro HomeShare helps Home Providers stabilize and retain their housing by developing the unused portions of their home into affordable rentals for Home Seekers. Our program also addresses deeper human needs for connection, community, independence and empowerment.
Metro HomeShare (MHS) works with Home Providers to determine if home sharing is a good option for them. We help each home provider establish an appropriate rental amount, chore needs, and create a matching profile that will be used to help introduce them to a potential housemate.
Metro HomeShare works with Home Seekers who are looking for relief from high rental costs and a competitive marketplace. We share our experience and insight about historical matches and partner with each seeker to develop a robust house matching profile.
