On Holocaust Remembrance Day, First Christian Church in Portland is hosting a panel presentation entitled NEVER AGAIN. The main speaker, David Fuks, is the son of Nazi concentration camp survivors. The Rev. Dr. Rodney Page (former director of EMO and Church World Service) is facilitating a panel and Q&A with four speakers – each briefly addressing an area of hate against targeted groups and how, as people of faith, we can respond with hope and action.
There will also be a very tasty, traditional Ethiopian lunch buffet as a special treat.
Panel presentation begins at 12:15 p.m. ,and the program itself is free, though advance registration for seating numbers is appreciated.
Tickets for lunch (at 11:30 a.m.) are $16 online or $15 if purchased from the church office before next Wednesday.
