Congregation Beit Haverim, Lake Oswego United Church of Christ (UCC), the Bahai community, the Bosniaks Educational Trust and other local congregations invite the wider community to a worship service in celebration of the gift of the Earth and our human responsibility for its just stewardship. The service will culminate with an opportunity for worshippers to make a personal pledge to concrete actions. Speakers will include The Rev. Yael Lachman of First Congregational Church UCC in Salem and Charlie Abrams, a climate activist and a sophomore at Grover Cleveland High School in southeast Portland.
