Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon (EMO) brings together diverse communities of faith to learn, serve and advocate for justice, peace and the integrity of creation

What We Do

Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon is a statewide association of faith partners working together to improve the lives of Oregonians through public policy advocacy, direct service programs, creation justice, and ecumenical / interreligious education and dialogue.

Last year, we served the needs of 133,886 Oregonians with the help of 1,398 volunteers and 1,217 donors who gave more than $1.4 million

For nearly 50 years, Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon (EMO) has advocated for the marginalized and serving those in need. Our unique approach brings together advocacy, education and direct service. Your gift helps to further our work, providing groceries to those struggling with the economic hardships of inflation; addressing the basic needs of individuals living with HIV/AIDS; housing unaccompanied high school students; providing immigration-related legal representation to refugees and immigrants throughout Oregon; and much more.
