Church, synagogue, mosque, temple, and other congregational leaders and security departments are urged to attend this special emergency training, briefing, and active shooter safety presentation to prepare places of worship for potential attacks and violent extremism, such as the shooting at the Chabad of Poway in San Diego and the massacres at Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Christchurch Mosques in New Zealand, and Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston.
The FBI, US Attorney’s Office, Portland Police Bureau, and other authorities will provide the most current information, data, and tools available. The training is free and open to all leaders from houses of worship.
