This free event is a forum exploring the relationship between our faith and the protection of worker rights, and the effect of declining labor unions on income inequality.
Dr. Martin Hart-Landsberg, Professor Emeritus of Economics at Lewis and Clark University, is the keynote speaker. The agenda includes workers telling their stories about how people of faith have effectively advocated for worker rights in labor disputes, a faith response by Fr. Jack Mosbrucker, and a Q&A panel. Information and resources about how to get involved in worker rights and social justice actions will be available.
